Update on White bear cub
 

Just saw on the local news that the little white bear cub that had it's pictures posted here a couple weeks ago is now an orphan and living in the Winnipeg Zoo. The mother was being fed by many people and began frequenting the nearby highway. Of course she was hit and killed by a car and now the cub is an orphan. Apparently Provincial officials and staff at the zoo worked quickly to ensure the cub was saved and had a place to live. Hats off to them for at least creating a bit of a positive ending. If living in a zoo can be called positive for a wild animal.
Just another reason why people should not feed wild animals.

By the way, the cub's coat is slowly starting to darken up.

Yes yes, Brutal, it is technically blonde. Thanks for the clarification.
If you had seen it though, you would admit that it is the whitest blonde bear you've ever seen.

I just saw the cub last friday and it looked pretty white to me.
