Help Idaho Elk

Can anyone help me with information on unit 66a in idaho? Areas of highest elk densities, class of bulls to expect, any info would be appreciated. My wife (not hunting) and I will be bringing mules to pack in, at this point I don't know alot about the unit? Any info will be kept confidentual. Thanks Wayne, [email protected]

I have never hunted down south, i hunt up north. If you are ever around there and need help, i will be glad to give it.

I have hunted that area for deer.
Are you bowhunting or rifle.
It is steep country mostly timbered but with lots of openings.
There are some nice bulls in there. I have seen them up to 320 or so deer hunting.
It is one of the less pressured deer units but I don't know about for elk, but I don't imagine it will be too crowded because it is steep and deep with not much for road access.

Most of that country has creeks in each bottom.
You shouldn't have any trouble finding water.
