NC Hogs

Anyone here hog hunt here is a pic of a 160lbs sow I took yesterday notice the catahoula pup in the pic. She will make a very impressive bay dog soon she is only 6 months old and is baying in a pen.

I've hunted hogs a few times. I have not got the opportunity lately. That's a nice high shoulder shot you put on her. What did you use? I like the .444 Marlin in my 1895 Outfitter 18 1/2" ported barrel. I plan on useing my Browning BLT '81 in .358 win next time I get to go hog huntin.

That was a .243 I had the rifle with me for coyotes and happen to stumble across her in a friends wheat field. Normally I use a Ruger M-77 .270 win.

wow thats an impressive pig. i really love hunting feral hogs. i got a pig similar in size to that one when i was 12 or 13. it may have been a little bit bigger but thats a pretty big pig. ill have a piggy in a short while, ill post a pic of him when i get him.
