I think bareback has said it the best. I heard someone else ( or it may have been him too) say that they always hold on "meat" no matter the distance. If your rifle is sighted in property for long range shooting, you should never have to hold over their back for any reasonable distance. And on severe angles, you should never hold lower than the bottom of the chest. Sounds like great advice to me.
