How Should I approach This?
Hey fellow hunters,
Born and raised in Idaho, I am used to hunting weary mulies and vocal bulls. My question is this. I am new to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. I know that they have the biggest Rosevelt Elk heard in the Norht West and also the home to the Columbian Blacktail. From what I have read this is hunting unlike I am used to. Besides scouting and spending quality time in the woods. What should I look for? Any traits they might have? Or any where I can get some good info? Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Muliefever |

RE: How Should I approach This?
i would recommend reading up on local hunting technique. Try to be friends with many many people so that you can learn familiar spots and traditional hunting grounds. Just try to play it cool and no one will know you were once from idaho!;)
