"Couples" Caribou

Guys-

I'm fishing for some advice here if you don't mind. My girlfriend and I are considering a Canadian caribou hunt as early as '05. I would be open to suggestions as to outfitters/guides/packages in Eastern Canada (I'm assuming travel costs would be cheaper to eastern canada considering I"m coming from the east coast). We'd be looking for some degree of comfortable accomodations - but by NO MEANS do we need or want some "gourmet" or 4star lodge. Just the basics so that a woman would be comfortable.

Any suggestions? Is this possible for ~2500 pp? Please feel free to contact me offline at [email protected].

Thanks!!!!

Good luck planning that far in advance, hope you guys stay together that long:DJust kidding.Did that trip for a honeymoon for my 1st marrage(that lasted 5 months) needless to say that was the 1 bright spot of marrying that #$%#&.It is a great hunt and very remote up in the far north of Quebec.I went in1989 with twin river lodge,Can't recommend them,it's been so long and they are under new ownership.$2500 is a little cheap for that hunt,$3500 to $4000 is more what you would be looking at.Call around check references, the caribou migration has become some what unpredictable.Good luck
