well I like bears, have a lot of experience with them
have also been in Manitoba a few times, always enjoyed my time there butt never seen a bear or a moose when there LOL

Always thought about making a special trip there up to Churchill Manitoba, to see them polar bears when they all migrate there more or less!
seemed like a great time to get to see polar bears up close and personal
but WOW the costs of some of them tours, they offer have kept from doing so!

so, YEAH there are some BIG bears in Manitoba!, gather the largest in the world when you talk POLAR bear that is!

For some reason this year I have this overwhelming desire to get my first black bear. I live in between Rochester and Buffalo NY. I have Allegheny State Park and many surrounding state/public spots to try that are within an hours drive. I've hunted everything NY has to offer for 16 years but never a Bear. Hoping this year is the year!

Not a bear hunter as there are none near me, but welcome aboard!

My only bear hunt was a token outing in Pennsylvania during seminary years ago.

I scouted out a bear spot this last weekend here in California. Saw one bear through the spotting scope about 3 miles out. Got up close to two different bears on separate occasions. I got within archery range with both. Hopefully I'll be posting a picture once the season opens!
