New Mexico Rifle Elk Hunt Unit 22 and 16B
A friend and I drew rifle bull elk license the the last season. The season is the last full week of October. We are planning on packing into the Gila Wilderness area. This will be first time in New Mexico. There are a lot of questions I have, but any help would be appreciated.
We are familiar with packing in with Llamas, in Colorado. Llamas don't seem to be available there. We have a lead through a friend on getting packed in with mules.
