Default 2020 Colorado Elk

Well it took 3 trips to Colorado before a harvested an elk. First morning of the first rifle season at 8:30 and he walks into the park area I was sitting in.

No we didn't. Today is the last day so I'll get to see if anyone else got one.

yes congrats on a very nice bull! (you got)

btw what rifle caliber?
,what bullet was used?
and where did you hit him?
how far was he?
what was the bull's reaction to the bullet impact?
please elaborate
Its not all that common to get a nice bull,
I hunted for 45 plus years in colorado ,
comparatively to the average I saw,
very few times did I see legal bulls on public land that nice
and even fewer that were better

Good deal Rob, the weather really wasn't very good after I shot mine. With a 5 day season you just don't know what you're going to get!

Second rifle season normally gives better weather and is a few days longer. Good luck Rob.
