Wyoming elk areas 63/64

I'm Tony Cleveland and a resident of Colorado. I'm hoping to trade some info on elk areas. I'm researching units 63/64 for a possible archery elk hunt in 2021. I may draw it next year with 13 points in the special. Ive hunted Colorado GMU 61 and would be willing to trade info if someone is building points in Colorado. This will most likely be my one and only upper tier elk hunt in Wyoming so I'm really trying to do my homework. I'm considering going guided mainly because Ive always wanted to do a horseback hunt but I know nothing about horses so need someone along that does. Plus due to work schedule not sure how much scouting I'll get to do in advance. I know its a grizz and wolf unit but I hear it holds some good elk so I'm willing to deal with that . Thanks in advance for anyone willing to share info

Tony,
I have seen you ask this question elsewhere and thought you got some good opinions. You are looking at good elk areas, but I do not think that I would burn 13 points for them. If you go guided in these areas, or the areas further into the wilderness areas, you will probably have an excellent hunt. Horses, bears, and elk should make for an interesting outing.

Ive never used a guide before. Always been a DIY'er so still trying to decide if the horseback experience is worth spending that much money. Ive only drawn one other high end tag and that was GMU 61 in Colorado. I had the entire month of Sep to get it done. I finally tagged out on respectable bull on the last day of the season. Do you know of any reputable guides for area 63?

The fellows that I know do not guide in those units but I am sure you can find a good guide that is a member of the guides association. Find an outfit and start doing your homework. Word gets around quickly about bad guides. One thing that you will need to decide right from the start is your budget. Budget restrictions might eliminate some of the outfitters and help you narrow your focus. Good luck.
