If ya don't mind what unit were yall in? Been thinking about making the long drive up there one of these days. Actually made it to the Black Hills last May to chase turkeys but never crossed into Wyoming.

Now that you have been there and back what are your plans for your horns? Are you and your group of merry men going to make a taxidermist happy?

Nice going Jake. The pictures were beautiful. Some of the terrain looked a lot like South eastern Colorado. My elk hunting buddy Rob just bought a place near Sheridan.

Way to go Jake! Nice goats. I was at Wall Drug just last month, kind of a neat place. You mentioned possibly camping in the Big Horns. I believe they have snow now so be careful where you go. Do you have deer tags also? What about a Jack-a-Lope tag?

Beetlepro in new castle, pa. All four heads went there. I've used them before and know a couple other guys who have used them. We're getting euro mounts and wooden wall plaques. My antelope was certainly nothing special-other than the fun hunt to get him. But my dad took a very nice one. I put a tape to him and got 81 4/8 and 81 the two times I measured it. I'm no expert, and I wouldn't necessarily say that is accurate. But it's really close and he had a nice goat. Very thick and heavy horns.

We didn't make it to the bighorns. As the weather got nasty Wednesday.

So we headed to my uncle's house which is west of Colorado springs. We went through Rocky mountain national Park on the way. I worked there for three Summers during college. And have always wanted to see it in the fall when the aspens are golden. It did NOT disappoint.
