Thoughts on best tactics for CO archery elk hunt next week?

I'm heading out for an archery hunt next week (Weds-Sun) and will be just outside Meeker in Unit 22.

Thoughts on best strategies to use? I've heard glass morning/evening and sit water during the day. The property I'm hunting has a pond on it with a lot of green grass in the valley as well.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
