Bison Hunt
 

Im looking for recommendations on a bison buffalo hunt. We like bison meat. but also wanting something that will make a nice mount. A big nice head. The cows and 3 year old bulls just dont have that same awesomeness as a big old bull. Wanting to know where people have gone and had good experiences. Have found a could ranches around the midwest but always like hearing first hand from people. For example, Ive talked with High Adventure Ranch, but from their gallery, their "trophy bulls" look to be about 4 year olds...

Twin Pines Ranch near Douglas WY. I've done a few hunts for yearlings for meat there and they have some huge bulls and they take a few out of the herd from time to time. Lady named Peggy Gerk used to be the contact person. They have a website.

I've killed a small bull at Twin Pines also (I wouldn't really cal it a hunt). Peggy & her husband were nice enough, but they have a lot of returning customers who get first priority. I don't remember if they sell older bulls, but it never hurts to call. https://twinpineranch.homestead.com/
