Default what are you applying for? 2018

I suppose this might as well become an annual trend, since last years had good responses....

What are you applying for this year?

Me and 5 others will be hoping to use our 2 preference points on Wyoming antelope this year. Still working on narrowing down our unit options.

I'll put in for another Wyoming preference point for mule deer and for elk this year as well.

In Ohio I'll apply for several "Controlled Draw" hunts. Most of these are deer hunts that take place on state parks, military bases, wildlife refuges, things like that.

I'll put in for PA Elk again as always.

So, what's everybody putting in for this year?

My daughter and I have a bull moose/bear hunt in Newfoundland the last week of September.

Will get an OTC bull elk tag for Colorado and have two friends coming down with Mule deer tags (should draw this year).

The usual Vermont deer hunting.

Preference points for Iowa, Colorado (deer/sheep/moose), Kansas, and Wyoming (deer/elk)

I'm booked for Sitka deer on Kodiak Is, AK for the first week of December.

I'll buy general Montana Deer, Elk, and Wolf tags, and apply for Antelope, Sheep, Moose, Goat, and Buffalo tags. I'll also have 17 bonus points for Sheep, Moose, and goats, so I should have a good chance of drawing one of them sometime in the next 175 years.

Hey Buffy, who are you hunting Sitka with? Why did you choose December? It’s on my bucket list.

That's going to be a great hunt. Be sure to let us know how it goes.
