Bought myself an AK style rifle for Christmas. I'll be using it when I head to Georgia in March for a hog hunt, they use dogs to get them moving and hopefully bayed up. 7.62 X39 with 154 grain ammo, everything I've read so far says this should be sufficient at fairly close ranges. I hate being undergunned.

killed more than a few deer with the 7.62x39, long as you have expanding ammo you'll do fine
