Congratulations!
Can you say more of how what the bullet did (besides the obvious ultimate result)?

well first shot was center of the shoulder, did not exit but left lots of trauma in the chest cavity, he ragout of the power line after he regained his feet, walked down and he was standing 20 yards inside the timber, as he stumbled clear of a downed tree the second shot was right behind the shoulder, saw the steam fly out of him and he immediately took a dirt nap, the 2nd shot exited leaving a nickel sized hole.

300 is a big one, here most are 150# 2 year old males for the most part, lots of bears for some reason the big'uns are just not here, this makes 14 that I have taken, the biggest was 236#

Pretty much a monster for this area, especially considering the 2 I saw being paraded around Moorefield on top the dog boxes last week. Couldn't have been over 75 lbs alive. Since they changed the legal weight limit, pretty much if it's black, it's dead if it goes up a tree. Not that I'm complaining, they tare up too much stuff at my place.
