I agree pronghorn is a great beginner's species -- beginner hunter, that is. You still have to be an excellent marksman. Yesterday I filled my tag at 200 yards, and it's the CLOSEST pronghorn I've shot. It's not uncommon for guys to take one at 600 or 700 yards (although I won't shoot that far personally).
