Finally!!!!!!!!!!
 

Well it has been over a year in the planning, but tomorrow I finally leave for my first elk hunt. I will be spending 8 days in the Lee Metcalf wilderness near Big Sky in SW Montana. Needless to say I am excited!

Thank you to each and every one of you who has answered my questions and offered advice to my many questions over the past months...it has been greatly appreciated.

The weather forcast looks ideal...snow and cold all next week. Hopefully the Bulls will be on the move.

I will post when I return...hopefully with some great pics!

good luck,the snow mix for down there does look good for hunting i hope to head for dillon early next week, weather is bringing me down there early,, hope all you stay safe in the snoww:D
