Default Farthest shot that you have taken to bring down a buck?

Just curious to see what everyone's experience of the farthest range that you have taken to shoot a buck. I saw this in one of the sites http://bit.ly/2fwteUZ, this hunter took an 875 yard shot. The farthest I ever took is probably less than 200 yards and I missed.

He's pretty well known here for long range shooting. By the way if you had bothered looking at the forum you'd see another thread about 5 down on this very topic that was started a couple weeks ago. What is the benefit to anybody about starting another one?

farthest on a buck just a hair under 800 yards, farthest on a doe, 1100 yards
been in the long range shooting game since the 80's
also have a LOT of kills in the 500-600 yard range, several that dropped in there tracks
But I will say I consider hunting this way more of a shooting game than a HUNTING game,
and I also NO longer hunt /shoot game at these distances
don't have same amount of time to practice as I once did and don't enjoy doing so like I once did!
I leave long range shooting now for targets, which I still enjoy when I get out to do so!

once killed a gopher in high winds at 10,000 yards but I had a lethal weapon.
