Can I still hunt anything nowadays?....
I am new to hunting and want to try out my new skills. Here in Arizona, am I allowed to hunt anything nowadays?
What is needed to do so? All I use is a sling-bow or a compound bow. All I eat are birds/rabbits and big game. No squirrels. How about if I have use someone's land? Thanks. |
Sounds to me, if you don't know what you may hunt you do not yet have a hunting license. In order to purchase a hunting license you need to take a hunter education class and pass a test to receive your hunters education card that will allow you to buy a license. I would recommend you contact the Arizona Game dept and ask them the questions you asked here. There is a very good chance a sling bow isn't legal to use, I have been hunting for over 50 years and never heard of a sling bow. After I googled it, I see it is a slingshot modified to shoot arrows, it wouldn't be legal in my state or those surrounding it. I have to ask, how old are you?

From that first post I'm thinking we have someone playing with us. New to hunting, needs all kinds of info, doesn't know any regulations, only uses a bow, eats nothing but game. Sorry, not buying it.
