Deer hunting California
 

Can anyone give me some info on applying for the deer hunt in California. And where is the zione thaty is the easiest to draw from.

Back when I was stationed there I usually hunted the "A" zone and I hunted in Mendocino County north of Napa. I also hunted in D-5 by Placerville. I took deer from both areas but that was back in the early 1990's. I left CA in Dec 1993 and have not been there since and I don't plan on setting foot there again.
