Deer hunting in Region G WY
What part of Region G would you recommend for mid to late Sept deer hunting that might combine with Unit 93 for Antelope.. not looking for B&C bucks just want a good successful combination hunt.

Any of it that would work for you, but that time of the year decent bucks will still be way up high with the sheep and goats and I'm talking 9,000' high and up! Now I have a question for you. Do you have at least 5PPs to draw a NR tag for Region G because that's at least what it will take in the Regular PP Draw or 4 PPs in the Special Draw this year to hunt deer anywhere in G? How do I know? That's where I'm going on a high country horseback hunt from 9/21-9/25 this Fall.

The 4PPs you have will not be enough for a 100% chance at a tag in the Regular Region G Draw based on last years stats (81.65% with 4PPs) and it will be worse this year! The PP you bought when you applied will not be used until the 2016 draw. You'll have chance to draw and if you don't you will then be in the Random Draw for a second chance at a few tags in that one. 4PPs in the Special Draw for unit 93 will also be close, but you will probably draw that tag based on last years odds if PP creep doesn't go up much.
