I won't say "ranch" because I know that entails other things to some people.
Where abouts would you be looking in that price range?
Priced out of most rocky mountain land it would seem, yes?
Curious.
Merry Christmas.

I would be looking to buy 2 or 3 hundred acres in my home state PA with woods, water and fields and manage it for many game birds and animals, not just deer. If I had such a place, I would rarely leave it.

I would buy a farm in NC, and lease out the cleared land for farming.
That way it will be a money maker, as well as a hunting farm.
The deer would have food, and I would always have hunting buddies.
It would be a Win/Win type setup.

I am interested in this guys next response. If he is for real, he will come back with comments on the property we listed. If he is a troll, he will come back and say: "Hey, I found this property and it looks like a really good deal, what do you guys think?" His first post sounds legit, and hopefully he is, but with 1 post, I have seen guys trying to sell a place start out like that. What say ye elkhunter...
