For the $5K you mention, I'd get ahold of Elkhorn Outfitters in Northwest CO. They operate mainly out of the Craig area. Huge elk herd there and they have the rights to an awful lot of ranches. The bulls won't be huge but he takes a lot of 5x5s and some 6's. The good thing is the outfitter, his name is Dodds by the way, gets a lot of bonus cow tags. So it is entirely possible to take both a bull and a cow on the hunt and if you're a meat hunter that is a pretty good deal.
They have a website and a quick google search will get you to it.

Thanks again guys!
Like I said, I am a meat hunter so a cow would be GREAT, but if the chance to pop a nice bull presents itself, I may have to take it
I'll keep you all posted, and thank you all for the ideas!
