Mule Deer
 

I am looking for some solid advice on finding mule deer. In particular, northern Arizona, late November. Tips on things to look for would be a help, as well as tips on things to stay away from, more or less, what should be holding them or what shouldn' t be holding them at that time of year. Thank you.

I would suggest you check out Mike Eastman' s Hunting High Country Mule Deer. This book is a definative mule deer hunting book. Mike gives tips on where to find these mule deer and how to hunt them. I hunt down on the plains and have found that the techniques he describes for the high country are useful down on the plains as well. You can pick this book up on his website www.eastmans.com. I would really suggest this book.
