Good gloves and knee pads for Colorado?

I am heading to Colorado next week for a spot and stalk mule deer hunt with a bow (dream hunt) and the outfitter said I would need knee pads and leather gloves for the cactus. I was wondering if anyone had reccomendations on a brand or specific gloves or knee pads? I was thinking some volleyball knee pads will be more comfortable than carpenter ones from Menards. Just have no idea what kind of gloves to get? Thanks guys!

Thanks for the help! Any specific glove of Wells Lamont I should use?

I use the ones they sell at Home Depot with the double thick leather on the palms. Same kind I would use for cutting firewood. Too thick for shooting but just snatch them off at the right time.

Just plain old work gloves. Cost about 10 bucks. Nothing any tougher.

All leather.
