Blacktail and Elk in Washington State

Hey Guys,

New member and new hunter here. I was just looking to get some information on getting started hunting public land in washington state. I live just north of Seattle and was looking at some of the GMU near the boulder river wilderness. Anyone hunt out there for blacktail or elk? Any other areas I should look into? Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I would suggest heading south for Elk, more open areas, Nooksack herd is permit only.
