After you freshen your bait, don' t sit on the bucket you carried the bait in.:D

Personally I wouldn' t like the restricted line of sight or being locked into one exit. Bears seem to have an uncanny knack for coming in at the most inconvenient angles for getting a shot off.

Don' t shoot him if he' s facing towards you or sharply quartering towards you, bears tend to run in the direction they were originally facing when they are shot. Good luck this season!

I' m usually on the ground when hunting bear. Just don' t fall asleep. Don' t move and keep your eyes and ears peeled. Bear can sneak up real quiet. There paws are like a rug.
If your calling it' s good to have another hunter and sit back to back so you can cover alot of ground with 2 sets of eyes without doing a lot of head movement.
Try to get into depression or at least have background that is consistent with your camo.
If your sillouette is sticking out in the wind that animal is going to see you and you' ll make it really easy for them to pick up your movements.

Watch your scent, they typically scent check the bait before coming in.
