Default If you could have 1 big game rifle, what would it be ?

Hello I am new to the forum and would like to see people's choices for a big game rifle if they could only have one. The game are : Large deer, Elk, Black Bear, Sheep, Caribou, and Moose. To keep it simple, all shots would be at 100 yards.

30-06 would be more than enough, but where's the muzzleloader?

None of the above

45cal smokeless muzzleloader.

Got to love being able to shoot bullets from 195gr to over 350gr as fast as many centerfires.

Take a look here;

I voted for the .338 WM (7mm RM would be my second choice).

I picked 375 not the best for all maybe, but will probably handle it all well.

Honestly I think the 1 rifle idea isn't a good 1st rifle choice as would be pick 1 rifle for what you hunt now/most, if all you hunt is deer for now, get a 270win, etc... and down the road you can get a 300mag, or 338mag, or 375 etc...

You mean for you. It sure isn't needed if you were a still hunter who just hunts the timber.
