o.k. guys, what would you considerthe ultimate hunt and why. mine would have to be an alaska kodiak hunt

African Safari: Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Hippo, Croc, Kudu, Eland, Impala, and a Thompson' s Gazelle (for the pot).

I' ll grant you that a Kodiak Brown Bear Hunt would be a right fine place to temper one' s steel a bit in preparation for it!

Got to admit I' ve been doing plenty of dreaming about my upcoming elk hunt: leaving 10-4-03 for season opener 10-11-03! Got me a list and checking twice!

trying and accomplishing getting , every species of deer there is :D:D:D including elk , carabou , and exotics , etc.... throw in a couple bear , and turkey , and some sheep , rams , goats , and a few boars

as you can see , i' m not hard to please ;););) it' s just too hard to choose , as after i accomplish one , then another new one would take presidence over my last :D:D:D

Kodiak brownies would be fun, might just go down there one of these years and chase em around with the bow. My dream hunt right now is a bowhunt for polar bears in Canada. My daydream is to take all 4 species of NA bear in the same year.
I have it all planned out. :D

Polar Bear hunt (Jan.-Feb.) Canada
Brown Bear hunt (May) South East Alaska
Black Bear hunt (May-June) South East Alaska
Grizzly Bear hunt (Aug.-Oct.) Interior Alaska, unit 13

One of my goals in life is to do the polar bear hunt, so WHEN it comes together, I will try as hard as I can to get all four types in the same calander year, all with my bow.
