Bear Outfitters with Hounds
 

I've been researching a bear hunt to take my son on for a while and the thought of a hound hunt sounds like fun. It would probably be more exciting than sitting in a stand for hours and hours a day and we may need to take less time off. Does anyone have any recommendations? Preferrable in Maine? Thanks.

I stumbled across a guide up in Jackman,ME while out atv'ing. The name of the guide is Longpond Guide Service. I know they run dogs because he stopped and asked if we had seen one of his dogs that he was looking for. I have no idea what kind of reputation he has but he appeared to be a nice guy. Beautiful looking dogs. I know he has a website.
