elk hunting in utah

Any one got any tips for elk hunting in utah, i will be hunting near vernal. Is this good elk country? This will be my first elk hunt.

I have seen a lot of elk in the mountains north of Vernal on Hwy 191 toward Flaming Gorge. I have never hunted there, but it has a lot of elk. Good luck
