I would recommend whatever your gun shoots best. There are tons of great factory ammo out there now days. The key is to use an ammo that is designated as a "hunting load" and not a varmit or target load. I'd purchase a box of several different brands of ammo and shoot them at the range. Select the brand that YOUR GUN likes best. Every gun likes something a little different. Accuracy is more important to me than velocity or bullet weight. The key is (and I don't care what game you are harvesting) where you put the bullet. An inch can make the difference in a one shot kill or a unrecovered animal. You MUST put the bullet in the correct spot. That's more important than shooting a 50BMG with a 800gr bullet at 2895fps. Ok...maybe that's an exaggeration but you get the point.
