WANTED: Outfitting business for sale
 

I am looking for a turnkey operation in Idaho or Montana possibly Wyoming. If anyone has any leads let me know. I am interested in mainly elk camps. Thank You.

Used to be a sheep an' elk operation for sale in the Frank Church area. Feller named Stanley Potts had it up for sale. Think he worked something out with another outfitter. Stanley was long in the tooth an' lookin' to retire. Looked like a good opportunity. If I hadn' t jus' bought a place, would of took the plunge myownself. Let me know what you find out. Reasonably priced businesses ain' t to be had round here. Too much commercialism an' the outfitters all got lodges an' dude ranches to sell with the permit.

Stanley' s price when I inquired was $80,000 for the business and wilderness permits, $200,000 with a 3 acre base camp right near the trailhead, complete with corrals, barn, an' a small home.

Thanks for the info. BeaverJack- Anyway of getting a hold of him? I know this is a bad time to try to track down an outfitter but it gives me a place to start when things slow down. Appreciate it.
