Very nice. What does he score, around 180?

I'm not sure on the score. I tried putting a tape to him a couple of times and was unbelievably inconsistent. Sometime I'll find someone who knows what they are doing to measure him. The general guesstimate consensus does tend toward around 180".

Nice mount, yes. I would not have room in my small home for a mount like that, so I normally don't chase after really big ones, I prefer the 2 year olds, smaller and not as tough to eat. In Oregon, I actually let a 5x5 go, did not want to take the shot. (Technically youre not supposed to count the guard spikes, but these were really big too.)

All my shots have been on 2x3s or 3x3s instead. And I don't mount them. Not worth mounting. But the antlers are great for attracting bucks, when they are relatively fresh.
