Probably could locate a special late season antelope tag for ya...iffin you be interested. Thats in addition to what ya drew.
Thanks! But if I kill an elk I'll probably let someone else take it this year,..but as we all know, an elk even in unit 61 isn't a garauntee.

We drew muzzleloader bull and deer in unit 48. First trip out west for me, but my buddy has hunted co and montana for 30 years. Can't wait. Takin a wall tent and our own gear and getting packed in and out. Any advice on 48, except that it is high and get in shape? We're all set with that- I hope, it is high!

Going down next week to check out our elk hunting area. Gonna set up the deer cameras. Didn't hunt down there last year, so I'm looking forward to muzzleloader elk in the wilderness. Congratulations to everyone on drawing.

I was unsuccessful in the deer and elk draw, but I did get a license for female pronghorn in 118.

I drew my Colorado area 61 second rifle bull tag with 16 PP's. Gotta get ready for October 20th.

DOGGONIT!!! I was unsuccessful for elk and deer. The only tag I drew was doe antelope (2nd choice). I suppose that's what happens when you leave the state for a year (called up by the Army Reserves) and lose all your preference points! Oh well, at least I get to hunt. I'll be in 110 for antelope on private land.

You lost your points by going in the reserves? That doesn't seem right.

Read the guide. They have a section about military. You could have got your points when you got off of orders.
