We drew muzzleloader bull and deer in unit 48. First trip out west for me, but my buddy has hunted co and montana for 30 years. Can't wait. Takin a wall tent and our own gear and getting packed in and out. Any advice on 48, except that it is high and get in shape? We're all set with that- I hope, it is high!

Going down next week to check out our elk hunting area. Gonna set up the deer cameras. Didn't hunt down there last year, so I'm looking forward to muzzleloader elk in the wilderness. Congratulations to everyone on drawing.

DOGGONIT!!! I was unsuccessful for elk and deer. The only tag I drew was doe antelope (2nd choice). I suppose that's what happens when you leave the state for a year (called up by the Army Reserves) and lose all your preference points! Oh well, at least I get to hunt. I'll be in 110 for antelope on private land.
