Charged by a Grizzly Bear

Glassing a Dall sheep on an opposite hillside, a sow with a cub moved in on us. We didn't see them until they were about 70 yards off.
She took us instantly and charged three times. My buddy dropped the camera so he could throw rocks at her, but it was still filming so the sounds are hilarious. At least they are now- not so much at the time.
Finally got a copy of the video so I posted that part on youtube. Check it out- the audio cracks me up everytime.

I got charged by a sow leaving a black bear bait site this spring. Its an exhilarating experience. Luckily I didn't have to shoot the bear either but did fire a round over her head into a bank behind her. its crazy the way they can cover ground. Glad you you all got to walk away from that experience.

my friend who lives in alaska was charged by a grizzly bear. he had to shoot or he would have been done for. he put it right between the eyes which surprised me. and he wants me to come up and hunt black bears with our bows, i think im too scared!
