Utah Elk Hunt
Went out to Colorado and come up empty for the year, but Utah was a different story.
It was the toward end of the rut a bit so they had just stopped bugling and couldn't call them in. So after a little glassing and some spot and stalk we we ended up coming across this big boy.
A little broken up from the rut....They rut hard in UTAH. I can only imagine what it would have been like a week or so before I was there.
I brought the bowtech along, but at 250 yards I had to settle for the remmington .308 instead.
