RE: How long after area burns will elk move back in?

Thanks for the tip,I don' t know if i will be heading that way for elk.The fire was what 2 years ago?I hunt old burns alot,and you right elk and deer and bears love old burns of 2-3 years.The grasses get green and rich.Do you think you are going to have more elk that way cause of Glacier burnning?We have been hunting back in behind Star and Blubber Crk. the past 3 yrs mostly cause it is either-sex.I would be hunting the breaks this year east of Lewistown but the place I hunt got smoked,so I will be hunting the snowies or the game range over by you.If I draw my tags for Rifle I have a raely good chance of nailing a 340-350 calls bull.My buddie got on 2 yrs ago with a bow that scored 335 P&Y.
