I'm still not clear how the disease is passed on to humans?

The post on 5/28 by moremules on this thread has a very good explanation of the different way humans can contract the disease.

Ok, thanks for pointing that out. I had read that and forgot. I was concentrating on the recent posts. My bad.

For the lower 48:

The only good wolf is a dead wolf.

Short, sweet, and simple.

What makes you think you will have much game left with wolves in the area?

While I don't know for certain I can rest assured that at least some of my relatives did say, "The only good Indian is a dead Indian." Having an agricutural background tends to color my views and predisposes me to hating wolves. Personally in the lower 48 I would like to see them extinct.

We have known about these wolves for years just as we know that there are grizzlies in the same area, the WDFW and the feds just can't seem to find them!! this area is still a prime hunting area because it is hard to hunt so a lot of the westside hunters won't go there! the game numbers are high, much higher than in the colocklum where hunting pressure from over 6,000 hunters have pretty much wiped out the herd! but the indians are being blamed for the lack of elk there!!!!!
