If I don't draw a moose tag I'll try to put together a bear hunt.

I'll be hunting here at home in New Brunswick for the spring season except for the first week in June when I have 3 hunters from Indiana coming. Two of them hunted with me 3 years ago and took their bears the first and second night.

I am sure everyones tastes vary. We use bear, instead of pork to cut into our Moose,Elk and deer for ground meat and sausage. Bear nachos rock!

Yeah, deer can taste pretty bad if it's on the wrong diet too.

I must have tried bear meat that was eating at the dump.

Maybe i'll try again. Hunting bear without a stand or bait is a real challenge.

Everyone's taste buds are different but bear meat that taste's like crap most likely wasn't taken care of properly when It was killed. Bear have allot of fat Inside the meat and along the hide. The biggest no no people do Is not getting them cooled right away. Bear meat Is my favorite big game animal to eat.

Bear hunting can be just as challenging In certain parts of the country using bait as well. Come on up to Minnesota and do a public land hunt If you don't believe me.

I didn't kill the bear meat I tried. I'm pretty good about taking care of my meat.

I've still hunting for bear a few times, but was never happy with the shots I had, so never took them. I still haven't killed one yet.

It's hard to get me away from elk hunting. It's the biggest joy in my life.

Not sure why I took Muley Hunter as a name.
