Fall hunting in Maine comes to mind. Lots of bears there and many are killed over bait on stands but when I used to deer hunt there I always saw lots of bears while still hunting especially in areas where there are beach trees when there are nuts.

I use to love to go to Ontario when they had a spring season but now with no spring season and all the crap of getting guns over the boarder I don't go . I think Main would be the place to go and I don't think you can beat the price Most guided hunts with meals and place to stay and and active bait around $1500 to $2000 bucks some cheaper . But like any thing else do your home work and call references ask a lot of questions.
