we are planning a moose hunt in alaska in the fall of 2012. we are wondering what our options are for getting a moose back to illinois? on the plane? ups?

You can ship it by plane but it is pricey. The first 50 lbs is free and it is $50 per every 100 lbs after that and you have to follow their strict guidelines for packaging and keeping it cold. There are businesses that will ship meat and trophies to your door.
