What is UCCS? I guess that those "wild deer" would make a trophy to a suburban hunter.....

It hangs out in downtown Colorado Springs, it was on the local news a week or so ago and is not photoshopped. My cousin lives in Springs and has seen it there he told me.

In June I went in and out of the Colorado Springs airport on 2 occasions and we saw some nice speed goats and muleys right at the airport. The muleys were pretty close to the rental car parking lot and laying in the shade of trees.

Funny how these deer make the non hunting public mock us hunters because they get the idea that the deer walking in the parking lot is the same as a deer in the field. I hear it all the time asking how us hunters can shoot these deer. I gave up trying to explain the difference between the urban and the true wild animals. I do however respect the fact that some of these urban critters figured out that they are safer in the lions den than in the woods. Now as long as they don't talk to there buddies we will be alright.
