Second that one.I use one as well. But honestly I wouldn't go without both a cow call and a bugle.
The bugle is a great locater when things are quiet just before dawn.
It takes practice and learning from experience as when to stop and procede.Cause the bull may just herd the cows away from the noise as well. But reguardless there is nothing like one pissed off bull going nuts when bugling one in, with screaming, raking branches just out of eye sight. It really is a rush. And when you bugle one on you are bugling in a dominate bull most of the time.
But more often than not it's the cow call thst has a higher success rate of kill. But more often than not they are the satelite bulls that come to the call first.
Where I live, it's min 6 point on one side and bigger that can be legally killed, so I bugle alot more than most.
I want them to make the first mistake so I try to get them so pissed off when they here that cow call they walk out into my killing zone.

It doesn't matter what brand but you need to learn to use a mouth call. I prefer the Primos mouth calls myself. When your bowhunting and you need to stop or turn a bull when it is 15 yards away and you have your bow in your hand (maybe even at full draw) a hoochie mama isn't going to do you any good at all.

The I-maka-da bullcrazy call by primos is the best call by far that I have ever used. Last year I was about 15 min into my genreal season bull elk hunt and I did a couple chirps with my I-maka-da bullcrazy call and almost instantly two bulls came out of the brush 100 yards in front of me, I dropped the bigger one (the one in my avatar). I have many other succes stories with that call and so do my clients (I am a elk guide). You wont regret buying this call, I think it is only like $13.

What works for me is: I have about 6 different calls on a duck lanyard. I also have my favorite that works most of the time but not always. I like to mix them up and find that one the Bull is favored to.
