good luck on ur moose hunt ..i go every year in october for 1 week ..we tag out every year [i prefer a cow better eating ]but we can only shot a cow every second year ..to outplay a moose [bull] one of my parteners is in a stand 12 ft. off the ground while i am 50 yds. below him and do the calling ,they seem to know exactly were u are so they come right out below my parteners stand [he does not call] and they come towards me but my partener tags the moose ..try it because it works even on the smartest bulls ..ps. let the moose meat hang for at least 2 weeks before taking it to the butcher ..
