Planning an Alaskan Float Trip Hunt!
Anyone know of a good bush pilot for moose and caribou?

Alaska is a big state. Do you have an idea where you want to hunt?

Your best bet is to use a good hunt planner. There's a lot of shady pilots out there that'll take your money and dump you in no man's land. http://www.pristineventures.com/adve...t-planner.html AK Jeff |

Geronimo, are you planning on a DIY float or are you going to have someone outfit you? I've been looking into a hunt up there myself for 2011. There's allot to consider...

Pristene ventures makes a great move for people that are interested in float hunting alaska, i would recomend highly that you watch it before you do mush planning. It gives a amazing amount of info on river selection how to tell that there is going to be water in it and so on. Also check out 700 miles alone. he does a float and has a chance at bear, sheep, caribou, and moose. all depends on how much time you can put into it. If you do decide to do the float hunt, i would recomand letting pristene ventures set you up. i have never personally worked with them but many people i know have and have nothing but great things to say. if you have any more questions shoot me a email.
