Montana outfitter
 

I am looking at a NW Montana combo Elk/Whitetail hunt. Elk would be my primary but I like the thought of the possibility of a big Whitetail. I know they offer the combo tags. [I would go with the guarantied tag through the outfitter] Also I want a pack in hunt [horseback] I will probably use a muzzle loader regardless of season. Any western Montana guide should be able to do this from what I have read so far. Web addresses and referrals would be appreciated.

Maybe consider one of those Rifle Rut Backcountry Elk hunts/seasons in MT.

I mean, rifle and rut, what's not to like? I got a dvd from a booth from an outfitter that does that in MT, I could check it out, but I have no personal connection to them, but the dvd was entertaining.

I think it may be the bob marshall wilderness where those hunts/seasons occur.
