Montana and Wyoming.
Killed a cow elk in Montana and a 245" 5x5 in Wyoming.
Grew up in Montana and "hunted" elk several times but really only truly tried a couple times and got the cow elk on one of those.
I'm 1 for 2 in Wyoming.
Rifle all the way.

Why change
7 animals in 10 years why would U want to change that...that is a great sucess rate
......some hunt for 10 years or more and never kill a elk!!!! I ran into a guy one time that had been hunting for elk 19 years and no kill!!!!!I would say to U it aint broke so don't try and fix it!!!!
